DJ Papi was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area.  He started gaining interest in DJing around 13 years of age by watching the DJs who provided his middle school dance parties with entertainment.  Slowly, he began to save money and eventually purchase his own DJ equipment.  From four car speaker cabinets and a 6 Disc CD changer to the massive sound system and light show he currently uses, DJ Papi has created his own company and now runs Wild Out Entertainment.

DJ Papi has evolved into a very well-known and respected DJ in the Tampa Bay area.  He has performed for many types of different events and at almost every night club in Tampa. DJ Papi has even been flown out of the state to DJ for weddings.  A huge highlight of DJ Papi’s career was being hired to play at an event for the rock legend, Sir Paul McCartney!  He has also previously worked for CBS Radio’s, WLLD Wild 98.7 (Now Wild 94.1), and has networked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including Busta Rhymes, Pitbull, Yung Joc, Ludacris, Akon, and Wyclef Jean just to name a few.  He is also very frequently booked for many corporate events including repeat clientele from the likes of: PUMA, Neiman Marcus, Victoria’s Secret, Victoria’s Secret PINK, The Casper’s Company (McDonalds), Timpano Chophouse, The Tampa Museum of Art, The Florida Aquarium, The Oxford Exchange, Mise En Place, Captain Morgan, Coastal Wine & Sprits, The Rooftop Eve and many more.

DJ Papi’s music library is one of the most extensive and versatile libraries a DJ could have.  With over tens of thousands of songs to choose from, some of the different genres of music he spins are:  Top 40, Hip-Hop, Dance/House/EDM, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reaggaeton, Reggae, Dancehall, Old School, Freestyle, Disco, and some Rock and even a little Country.  Don’t let the Latin DJ name fool you, DJ Papi can spin almost any genre of music and if he doesn’t have it, he can get it!

DJ Papi specializes in bringing the nightlife and night club feel to each and every event.  He is not your ordinary “wedding DJ”.  DJ Papi will make any type of event one to remember by providing great music and energy that the crowd needs to keep moving on the dance floor.
